Here are a couple of interesting and confusing acronyms I came across recently:
RMS Vs RMS: Right Management Service and Root Management Server (MOM 2007)
SRS Vs SRS: Site Replication Service and SQL Reporting Service
I remember we were looking for candidates with SQL Reporting experience. Our recruiter did a "search" and came up with a SRS experienced guy. When I was looking at his resume, I realized that he is an Exchange person not a SQL guy. I am sure there are a lot of acronyms like this but I always wonder why Microsoft can't use something different…
