Even if you don't any real connectivity issues (Ports , Name resolution, Link etc) between MIIS server and the directory servers, you will get Event ID 6050 with connectivity errors in the Application event log. This is mainly because of the Timeout settings in the Management Agent (MA). To change the timeout value,
- From Actions menu, select Configure Run Profile
- Select the appropriate the Rule profiles and select Edit Step option.
- Change the Timeout values in seconds and Click Finish
