I get this question a lot. Where is the "Backup Now" option in DPM? I think we are all familiar with "Backup Now" or "Scan Now" options in different products. We don't have a "Backup Now" option in DPM but we do have a "Create Recovery Point" option. This is basically same as Backup Now functionality.
In Protection tab, expand the PG and Server, right click the protected data, you will see an option called "Create Recovery Point"
