DPM installation and Error ID:820

Issue:
The DPM installation process stops with the following error message:

Setup cannot query the system configuration. Error ID:820

Solution/Workaround:

1. Make sure the following “backward compatibility" components of IIS 7 are installed on the server:

• IIS 6 Management Compatibility
• IIS 6 Metabase Compatibility
• IIS 6 WMI Compatibility

2. Uninstall all IIS components and re-install all re-required IIS components

3.  Make sure the SQL Agent and SQL Server services are running
