Fast and Detailed Inventory using DPM Management Shell

The following command can be used perform Fast and Detailed Inventory using DPM Management Shell:

$DPMLibrary = Get-DPMLibrary -DPMServerName DPMServerName
Start-DPMLibraryInventory -DPMLibrary $DPMLibrary -FastInventory
Start-DPMLibraryInventory -DPMLibrary $DPMLibrary –DetailedInventory

You can use following Cmdlet to get more information about your library:

Get-Tape              -> Returns a list of tapes in the library across drives and slots.
Get-TapeDrive    -> Returns a list of drives in a library on a DPM server.
Get-TapeSlot       -> Returns the list of slots in the library.
