You can deploy a single Forefront UAG server, or an array of Forefront UAG servers that share the same configuration. Array server traffic can be load balanced using a hardware load balancer, or using Windows Network Load Balancing (NLB) integrated into Forefront UAG. This download contains an array planning and design guide, and a deployment guide. The array design guide helps you to understand array and load balancing concepts, identify array deployment goals, and understand the planning required for each deployment goal. After identifying your array design, use the array deployment guide as a step-by-step companion as you configure load balanced arrays. The planning guide is available from the Forefront UAG TechCenter (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd861476.aspx). The deployment guide is also available from the Forefront UAG TechCenter (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd857305.aspx).
