Delta Force Ranger Event

I was at the Delta Force Ranger Event last week at the Microsoft Redmond Campus.  It was a great event and I am really glad I attended this.

At the event we were able to directly talk and work with the Product Managers who are responsible for designing the products.  So if you have any suggestions, comments or new features you would like see in the next version of the product, this is your opportunity.  If you have an opportunity to attend a Delta Force Ranger Event don’t miss it.

It was a well-organized event.   The Delta Force Ranger team really deserves a great appreciation for organizing these events.

We had the following sessions:
Day1:
Windows Server 2008 R2 Key Note – Mike Schutz

Windows Server 2008 R2  –What’s new in Core – Andrew Manson
Windows Server 2008 R2  - Gene Chellis

Other than the real technical explanations, they also told us the behind the scene stories like how Microsoft came up with NAP, how they design the next generation OSs, how they select the new features for the product etc etc.

and….yes.  We all got a Delta Force Ranger name engraved Zune HD.  What else you need :-)
